About the event
Join University of Ottawa Chancellor Calin Rovinescu in conversation with distinguished scientist and entrepreneur John Bell, PhD. They will discuss what it will take for Canada to capitalize on our research, be better prepared for the next pandemic and drive progress to defeat other diseases.
Dane Bedward, member of the University of Ottawa 's Board of Governor’s and former senior vice-president of Genzyme Corporation, will moderate the debate.
The discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer period. You can email your questions in advance to chancellorsdebate@uOttawa.ca for consideration by the moderator.
Please note that the discussion will take place in English. Simultaneous interpretation to French will be available.
